Yellow Bear was born in 2010 out of a realisation that the large financial companies no longer served the interests of their clients. After the recession and resulting loss of confidence in the big brands it became obvious to me that people wanted to deal with people, and not just a high-street name. We know that building trust is the most important thing when selecting a professional to advise you, especially when it comes to your money. That is why all our processes are based around first spending time with potential clients to allow that trust to be built before there is any cost or commitment.
I have over a decade of experience working in the financial advice sector having dealt with all aspects of wealthy individuals, business owners, trusts and charities. In every case it was the personal relationship that was key. Although of course it should go without saying that the adviser must be well qualified for the role and should continuously be learning and updating their knowledge to stay up to date in this rapidly changing industry
Yellow Bear does not seek to deal with as many clients as possible. Instead we look to only deal with those whom we can help, and whom will benefit from a long -term relationship with us. Generally, we see our clients at least annually to review their situation and we are available throughout the year to help them react to changes in their lives or the economy in general.
